Southampton August Deed Filings Show 13 Transfers, Few Prices Disclosed
Southampton recorded 13 property transfers between July 31 and Aug. 29, though sale prices were disclosed in just five of those deeds. Prices ranged from $38,000 to $802,592, with a median of $157,000 among the disclosed sales. The month's most notable transaction was the $802,592 sale of a home on Kylene Circle, sold by Gregory Garvey. Nine of the 13 recorded deeds involved a bank, credit union or mortgage company as buyer or seller, including PeoplesBank, Westfield Bank and Greenfield Savings Bank. With price data unavailable for most transfers, the recorded activity offers only a partial picture of the local market's tone this period.
