Southampton records 16 deed transfers, but sale prices stay largely hidden

Southampton recorded 16 property transfers between July 24 and August 22, but only two disclosed a sale price: $150,000 for 71 Gilbert Road and $560,800 for 26 Katelyn Way, the period's top disclosed sale. The remaining 14 transfers, involving banks and credit unions as grantor or grantee in most cases, did not list a consideration amount. Two properties, on Crooked Ledge Road and College Highway, transferred to the Town of Southampton. With disclosed pricing covering just 2 of 16 recorded deeds, the data does not support a read on overall market tone this period.
