Southampton sees $4.2 million deed lead a mixed July-August sales stretch
Southampton recorded 12 deeds between July 17 and Aug. 15, but only four disclosed a sale price, ranging from $200,000 to $4,224,000 with a median of $300,000. The period's standout transaction was the $4,224,000 sale of 17 College Highway to Greenfield Savings Bank on July 22, the same week 172 College Highway sold nearby for $350,000. Eight of the 12 deeds, most with no disclosed price, listed a bank, credit union or mortgage company as either buyer or seller. With two-thirds of transactions lacking public pricing, the available data offers only a partial view of the local market's value trend this period.
