Southampton Soccer Association seeks volunteer coaches as it pauses intramural play; travel tryouts wrap up and Centennial Baseball Club opens in-house registration.

SOUTHAMPTON --

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Southampton Soccer Association, marking "44 Years of serving the Southampton community," said its intramural program remains on hold, per a website notice reading "SSA Fall IM Soccer PAUSED for 2025." The all-volunteer organization said it needs additional coaches and commissioners for its U6, U8 and U10 age groups before it can reopen spring registration, citing a decline in available volunteer help as families shift to other sports and commitments. Anyone able to help was asked to reach the association via Facebook or at southamptonsoccer@comcast.net.

On the travel side, the association said tryouts "now completed" produced the following rosters: 2014 Girls (U13) Sirens Orange, 2014 Girls (U12) Sirens Blue, 2013 Girls (U13) Surge, 2015 Boys (U11) Vikings and 2011 Boys (U15) Kings. Questions about the travel program can be directed to Travel Director Brian Sassano.

Separately, Centennial Baseball Club's website continues to advertise open registration for its in-house baseball program.
