Southampton Planning Board pushes Atlantic Tower cell tower hearing to October 21. Chairman Paul Deeman read a letter from attorney Frances Parisi citing unfinished engineering, survey and federal environmental review work, plus an unpaid peer-review fee, as reasons for the delay. Member Bob Riggs flagged that the town's peer reviewer found Atlantic Tower "not eligible" for the shot-clock extension it requested, and the board took no formal action on that request, leaving the federal deadline unresolved.
Separately, the board unanimously endorsed an ANR plan splitting a 35 Cook Road parcel between Mass Wildlife and a house lot to be sold, presented by attorney Rikki Rezos on behalf of trustee Cheryl Parker. The board also ratified two building permits, including an agrivoltaic solar array over apple trees at 160 E Street, with one newer member abstaining from that vote.
